Our Team
Our team at Dentists of Alphington each have many years of experience working in private dental practices. We are dedicated to quality patient care and pride ourselves on our communication with patients. We are locally trained in Melbourne and enjoy being an integrated part of the local community.
Our staff are skilled in a diverse range of procedures and are keen participants in continuing education. We pride ourselves on combining the latest technologies and philosophies with a conservative evidence base.
Dr. Aaron Martin
Dentist, BDSc (Hons)
Aaron is a general dentist with many years of experience in private practice, most of which have been spent in Melbourne. He graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2004 with honors after a degree containing numerous academic awards. Since this time, Aaron has gained extensive experience in many areas of dental practice and has a particular interest in long-term treatment planning for his patients. He enjoys getting to know patients and planning treatment in a caring, friendly environment.
Aaron and his wife are heavily involved in the local community, having lived in the area for many years. They have two active young boys who dominate much of their spare time.

Dr. Natasha Swan
Dentist, DDS (Melb)
Natasha is a caring and experienced dentist and a local, having grown up and completed her dental degree at the University of Melbourne. She prides herself on providing quality, comprehensive care to patients in a calm, gentle and friendly environment.
Natasha is quite interested in continuing professional development and has undertaken further education in orthodontic and various cosmetic treatments, including veneers, implant restorations and Invisalign. She also has vast experience in treating patients who have anxiety or phobias regarding dental procedures and enjoys aiding people to overcome their dental phobia.

Dr. Peter Apostolopoulos
Periodontist, BDSc (Melb), GradDipClinDent (Implants), DCD (Perio)
Peter is a specialist periodontist, which is a specialist in performing any procedures related to the gums, including treating gum disease and placing dental implants.
Peter completed his dental degree and extensive postgraduate degrees in Melbourne and has many years of experience in clinical practice.
When placing dental implants, Peter only uses quality systems backed by long-term research and is able to work closely with other members of our team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Whilst consulting at Dentists of Alphington, Peter is only accepting referrals from Dr. Martin and Dr. Swan. Please book a consult with one of our experienced general dentists if you wish to see Dr. Apostolopoulos.
Suzanne
Suzanne has more than 30 years of experience in the dental industry, including both clinical and administrative roles in Ivanhoe East. She is a wealth of knowledge for patients requiring any information relating to dental treatment.
Suzanne is an avid Pies supporter and is always happy to chat about the football with our patients. Outside of work, Suzanne loves spending time with her three teenage children.
Bri
Bri is an experienced dental nurse that has worked with our clinic since we opened! She is a consummate professional and is friendly and efficient in all that she does.
Bri is also a a talented multi-tasker - when not at Dentists of Alphington, she is busy studying to be a registered nurse!
Rhianna
Rhianna has been in the dental industry for 25 years and, as such, is incredibly proficient in all areas of assisting and administration. She has worked in specialist (orthodontic and endodontic) and general practices in the area and is very knowledgeable when it comes to varied dental procedures and treatments.
When she is not at Dentists of Alphington, Rhianna enjoys running and spending time with her two teenage daughters and schnoodle.
Tamara
Tamara is the latest addition to our team and is currently in the midst of undertaking further education in dental assisting.
Tamara is originally from Ireland and her exuberant, bubbly personality give her a great chair-side manner. In addition to her skills in assisting, Tamara is a very experienced horse rider and likes spending her spare time riding.
Michelle
Michelle is an experienced dental assistant whom has worked in both general and specialist (prosthodontic) practices. She brings a great deal of empathy to her role and is fantastic with anxious patients.
Michelle is originally from Canada and has completed her dental training in Melbourne. When not at work, she loves spending time gardening and with friends and family, including her beloved Shitzu, Basil.
